Our review methodology

We evaluate every product against a consistent rubric — real costs and fees, who the product fits best, ease of use, and meaningful tradeoffs versus alternatives. We lead with fit, not perks: a card or account that’s great for one person can be wrong for another. Recommendations are based on publicly verifiable terms at the time of writing, and we date-stamp and update reviews as terms change.

Editorial independence

Our ratings and recommendations are never for sale. No advertiser or partner can pay for a better review, a higher ranking, or favorable coverage. If we wouldn’t recommend something to a friend, it doesn’t get recommended here.
